From Concept  to Finish

For many years I’ve been fascinated by art and design, I began my own journey of creative discovery following my early years as a Draughtsman qualified in AutoCAD, and producing working construction drawings for manufacture of bespoke joinery from bars to office fit outs and retail. Having been inspired by the works of well-known artists such as Ann Stokes, Victoria Francis and Jasmine Beckett I am now producing my own Fantasy/Gothic style work. I’ve worked with various mediums over the years from Pencil to Digital Art, using a wide variety of techniques. my preferred medium now is sketching then Photoshop For digitally painting my original sketches once scanned into the computer, I add a bit of real photography for my back drops and of course there’s a wealth of resource  materials out there. Then there is my commission work which throws out new challenges every time to suit individuals ideas and visions.

Below you can see two examples of my Artwork showing the process from Concept Sketch to Finished Piece, Each picture that i do can take anywhere from a couple of Days to 3 weeks to complete depending on how much detail is entailed
